schizophrenia

After a long research about schizophrenia, I wouldn't say it is a mental problem or illness or else we would all end up to be ill people who need to seek mental care.
I believe some of the symptoms that schizophrenic people face in their life have been faced by me in my usual daily life and still I am able to cope with it . That 's why I wouldn't claim and say that schizophrenic people are ill. When I was young I used to have my own virtual students and I used to teach them mathematics on the board ,sometimes even scold them because they wouldn't listen to me. But thinking again all these students come from my imagination.
Sometimes I used to talk to the mirror just to practice some acts or behaviors I was going to do during the day. Again people with schizophrenia are known for spending the night awake and sleeping in daytime. I always enjoy doing that. Writing the blog at this time shows evidence of being awake at 4:19 am. Would that make me schizophrenic ?or haven't you thought that maybe we normal people are close to schizophrenic people in many things we do ...so why discrimination????

umututku has some great images of the research maps we created, can you post them up. Please also up date us on how they are developing, post a day? This is so that over time it will create a diary, progress and journal of thinking and research that you can reflect on.

This blog will be marked as part of your Design Research Module which will conclude with a final written report, which will also be marked.

This blog needs to reflect, practise, feedback, sessions and visual work development! please post and update.

Your tasks for the first 3 sessions have been to:

Task 1: set up blog, post an example of 2 design projects you are interested in. One from your native home and one british designer. You may want to spend some time looking in journals to get a current design flvour and culture in this country.

Task 2: Take an aspect of your chosen RSA brief and show how one idea might be developed through a research process or series of questions.
This might look more like a time line
Task 3: Make contact with 2 organisations, individuals or charities who you may collaborate or offer support or expertise for your chosen RSA project.
Make a posting each day which shows how your research map has developed durring this week. 7 postings intotal. Please add coments and feedback to the visuals.

Research day by day

The internet was really a mess this week. We are still facing problems with the connection and nothing is getting better. The library closes at 9 and we have little time left to finish our writings. But despite of that, this week was full of challenge trying to meet all the organizations that wouldn't reply my emails or calls. I went today to Finsbury Square in Liverpool, just thought that I could meet with the "rethink" organization without a meeting as I used to do back in my home country. But the secretary over there gave me her email and with that i reached the team leader through email and asked for an appointment.I wrote him a few words explaining what i exactly need from their organization: " Dear Brian , Thank you f or your reply.In fact I am doing a research about a mental health in university specifically schizophrenia.
